Kosovo crowned its beauty queens

The Miss Universe Albania Organization also holds the license to crown Miss Universe Kosovo and Miss Earth Kosovo. During the coronation night, held on July 9, 2021 at Salla E Adorions, Amor Palace, Autostrada Tirane-Durres, Vonesa Alijaj was crowned Miss Earth Kosovo 2021 and Tuti Sejdiu was crowned as Miss Universe Kosovo 2021.

Vonessa Alijai is the new Miss Earth Kosovo and with this title, she earned the right to represent her country at the upcoming edition of Miss Earth, whose date and venue are not yet confirmed.

Hailing from Gjakova, the 25-year-old was graduated from high school, and works as an educator with children. She is fluent in five languages, including French, German, English, Luxembourgish, and Spanish, and believes that it’s good to know so many languages as it helps in learning different cultures and traditions. She is courageous and passionate about beauty pageants as she believes that beauty pageants bring in a lot of opportunities for a beauty queen to work on.

The beauty queen shared that while she was growing up, she had trouble in school as she faced bullying, but she didn’t let the bullying get to her and rather made it her motivation to get up and become even stronger as a girl. She was elected as Miss Luxembourg 2015, which helped her to gain confidence, strength, and courage to work hard and stay dedicated to her dreams. She works with children currently and describes, “My job as a child educator is to give them important values ??for their future. They make me happy when I see the faces of children who trust me. From my own experiences, I knew myself and my limits. “

Vonesa wants to convey the message to young girls which are to have self-confidence and not to be stopped by their dreams for a moment. Drawing experience from her own life, she believes that there is nothing that cannot be achieved in this life.

Miss Universe Kosovo 2021

At the same time that the coronation of Miss Earth Kosovo, Tuti Sejdiu was crowned Miss Universe Kosovo 2021 at the end of the event finale. She will represent Kosovo at the next edition of Miss Universe, later this year. She succeeded Miss Universe Kosovo 2020 Blerta Veselu for the crown.

Hailing from a small and beautiful city in Kosovo, Gjilan, the 19-year-old beauty queen describes herself as someone who believes in love, sincerity, equality, respect, and the power of her voice. She wants to use her voice to always encourage the young girls in the country not to give up on their dreams because in the world there are no impossible things.

Tuti mentioned, “Positivity, self-confidence, and intuition are my strongest weapons and with their help, I always get where I want.” She has been a part of the modeling industry from the age of 15 as she became a part of various fashion shows conducted inside and outside the country, which has helped her to gain confidence, strength, and allowed her to have experiences she can cherish for the rest of her life. Talking about her experience, she mentioned, “What is worth emphasizing is that each experience had its beauty and uniqueness, inspiring me and preparing me to continue this journey without stopping and never getting tired.”
