Vietnam wins Supermodel International 2022

Bui Quynh Hoa was crowned Supermodel International 2022 at the end of the 10th edition of the pageant, held the MAYA Lifestyle Shopping Center in Chiang Mai on September 15, 2022. The representative of Thailand bested 18 others candidates to succeed Supermodel International 2019, Elina Pronina from Estonia. She also wins Catwalk and National Costume Awards during this night. She is the 2nd representative of Vietnam to win this crown.

After her crowning, Quynh Hoa shared her joy: “I am proud that Vietnam was named at the highest position. I am also proud to contribute to Vietnam’s achievements on the world beauty map. Thank you to the audience for cheering me on so warmly.” In the history of the pageantry, it seems that Quynh Hoa is the representative with the least preparation time, she only had 3 days to prepare after winning the selection casting conducted by Leading Media, the Thai national director. Talking about participating in International Supermodel 2022, Quynh Hoa said: “The factor that makes me most confident at the moment is the spirit of ‘blood war’. I feel I am at the most ‘ripe’ age to participate in competitions and I will continue to ‘turn on the blood unlimited warrior mode’ to fight at the International Supermodel 2022.”

When asked what is the concept of the modern woman, Bui Quynh Hoa replied in English, saying: “For me a modern woman is 1 woman who dares to pursue her passion, dare to think, be timely and civilized, live without regret anything.”

Quynh Hoa was born in 1998, a native of Hanoi. She works as professional model. She is not a newby to pageant. She has participated in contests such as Miss Ao Dai Vietnam World 2017, Miss Vietnam Global Sea 2018, Vietnamese Supermodel 2018 (won the gold prize), Miss Universe Vietnam 2022 (reached the top 10).
