Vaihinaura Fauura crowned Miss Marquises 2022

Vaihinaura Fauura of Fatu Iva Island was crowned Miss Marquises 2022 in the presence of Miss Tahiti 2021 Tumateata Buisson at the end of the pageant which took place on Saturday, April 9, 2022 in Punaauia. The 22-year-old dancer bested 4 others candidates to succeed Tumuria O’Connor, Miss Marquises 2019 for this title, and now will represent her island to the next edition of Miss Tahiti (preliminary of Miss France) to be held on June 24, 2022 in Papeete.

The 2022 Miss Marquises court included –

1st Runner-up – Kaveei Cancian

2nd Runner-up – Keheani Tinorua
