The native from Castell crowned Miss Latina Argentina 2024

Maria Sol Romero was crowned Miss Latina Argentina 2024 at the end of the glittering final, held on May 26, 2024 at the Casa del Medico Auditorium in Resistencia. The native from Castell beat 22 other delegates to succeed Ana Paula Caudana, Miss América Latina del Mundo 2023 and to become the official representative of Argentina at the next edition of Miss América Latina del Mundo, to be held on 20-27 October 2024 in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

She hopes a back-to-back for Argentina.

During this final, Ana Paula Caudana, said that “it was an honor to be here, last year I visited Resistencia where I was elected as Miss Latina, I had to represent the country and, for the first time in 42 years, win the international contest in Punta Cana.”

The national pageant was this year under the leadership of Ivana Calgaro, a model from Chaco, who participated at the Miss América Latina del Mundo in 2018. Today, she is the CEO of the Miss Latina Argentina Organization.  “This national contest seeks, mainly, to promote tourism and cultural exchange between delegates, to highlight the culture of Argentina women through the provincial ambassadors. What is going to be chosen, precisely, is a national ambassador who is a representative of our history and customs” she added.
