The first Miss Grand Liberia is…

Goretti Itoka was appointed as the first ever representative of Liberia for Miss Grand International 2021. The announcement was made via Miss Grand Liberia’s official social media page. It will mark Liberia’s debut at Miss Grand International.

The 24-year-old beauty queen was born in Monrovia, Liberia and is a student at Stella Maris Polytechnic University of Monrovia where she continues her Agriculture studies

She used to volunteering to work with The Cummings Africa Foundation team to donate hospital supplies in the south eastern region of Liberia. She eventually created her very own non-profit organization called the Goretti Latife Itoka (GLI) Foundation.

She currently owns an Agriculture Business called AgroRetti that will be launching in September 2021. This is a company that focuses on promoting local farmers, empowering women and making sure everything is produced locally in Liberia.

The diva is no stranger to beauty pageants, as she was crowned Miss Mano River Union International 2019 and has worked as a professional model for a while. Her work as a model has helped her to gain knowledge and experience, which will help her during the competition.
