Saran Bah appointed as Miss World Guinea 2021
After 4 years of scarcity, Guinea will participate in the Miss World beauty contest, which will take place at Coliseo José Miguel Agrelot, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, on December 16, 2021. Guinea will therefore be represented by the second runner-up of Miss World Guinea 2019 , Nene Mariama Saran Bah.
The announcement of this appointment was made on the social media by Saran herself. It is through a post that she announced this news to all the people of Guinea, to which she asks for enormous support, in the hope of succeeding Jamaican Toni-Ann Singh, at the end of the ceremony.

“It is with a heart filled with gratitude and pride that I share with all of you my participation in the 70th edition of the Miss World 2021 election in Puerto Rico,” said Saran Bah. “I would like you to accompany me in this adventure and that we live this experience together for Guinea … The challenge is great but with you by my side, I want to believe that nothing is impossible” , she asked.
“After 4 years of absence, Guinea will once again defend its reputation of having the most beautiful women in Africa and why not in the world, in my person. Miss World, before being the coronation of a queen, is for me the crowning of a little girl’s dream!… ”, She added.
Upon obtaining her bachelor’s degree at the end of 2012, she went to Canada where she began her university studies in compatibility in early 2013 at the University of Moncton in the province of New Brunswick. After a year and a half in Moncton, Saran joined the University of Ottawa in Ontario in 2014 where she continued her studies in accounting. In 2017, for her last university session, she did a school exchange at the ULB of Brussels in Belgium where she took master’s courses to complete her study program. After which she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in commercial science, specializing in accounting from the University of Ottawa.
Very committed to humanitarianism. In 2014 she was already leading awareness campaigns against Ebola disease, holding discussion and awareness panels against genital mutilation and violence against women with associations such as RAFIQ.
In 2018, she traveled to China where she worked in the field for two months in collaboration with a local organization on a humanitarian education project.
In 2019 she created her NGO Unity In Diversity which works to improve living conditions in the school environment, she is also the godmother of an NGO called Children Need Help working in the support of disadvantaged children and orphans in through donations of material goods, activities to entertain children, share meals, create human contact or even the care and medical support of sick children including those with cancer.
Not a newbie to pageantry, she begin during her childhood. She won Miss Internationale Moncton 2013. After this, she was crowned Miss Guinea Canada 2014 and finished second runner-up Miss Guinea 2019.
