Nicole Wess is the new Miss Ohio USA and Grace-Anne Larschied is Miss Ohio Teen USA 2021
Nicole Wess, Miss Cincinnati Metro USA, was crowned Miss Ohio USA at the end of the final, held on July 10, 2021, at the Matthews Auditorium in Sharonville, Hamilton County. She succedeed Miss Ohio USA 2020, Sthephanie Marie Miranda. With this title, she earned the right to represent the Buckeye State at the 70th edition of Miss USA pageant, on November 29, 2021 at the Paradise Cove Theater of River Spirit Casino Resort in Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA.
The 22-year-old beauty queen lives in Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio. She previously lived in West Chester, Ohio. In 2016, she graduated from Lakota West High School in Beckett Ridge, West Chester Township, Butler County, Ohio. On August 21, 2016, she enrolled at the University of Cincinnatito pursue a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy and is expected to earn her doctorate degree in pharmacy from the University of Cincinnati in 2023. On January 20, 2020, she joined St. Vincent De Paul Society as a pharmacy intern. Amid the new coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic in 2021, Nicole helped staff the University of Cincinnati Health vaccine clinic at the Hoxworth Blood Center in Cincinnati.
The beauty queen from Cincinnati Metro started modelling in 2017 where she modelled in a bridal shower and later spent her Christmas vacation in Clearwater Beach, Pinellas County, Florida, USA. In 2018, she started working for NV Models and Talent in Cincinnati as a runway coach.
In one of her social media posts, she has mentioned that she grew up volunteering and helping the less fortunate as she discovered the love to put others first and help the ones in need. She feels grateful that she has a chance and a platform to do something extraordinary for the ones who are in need and will be dedicated to using her title of Miss Ohio USA 2021 for the same.
Grace-Anne Larschied has been crowned Miss Ohio Teen USA. The 17-year-old girl from Lima earned the crown in the pageant which wrapped up on July 10, 2021 at St. Matthews Auditorium in Sharonville. Grace-Anne will represent Ohio for the title of Miss Teen USA 2021 in November in Tulsa, OK.
Her platform was an anti-vaping message. In early 2017, Grace-Anne, who has never vaped, almost died from bacterial pneumonia and has spoken out against vaping. She spoke to a number of groups and organizations over the past year.
In an article that appeared in the Columbus Dispatch and The Lima News last year, she said she still feels the effects. “I have what someone vaping for six months or a year could have,” said Grace-Anne, whose lungs are significantly scarred. “That’s why I’m doing this. I didn’t have a choice, but people who vape do have a choice.”
