Naa Morkor Commodore crowned Miss Universe Ghana 2021

Silvia Naa Morkor Commodore was crowned the new Miss Universe Ghana during a special and private ceremony held October 13 in Ghana. She will head on to compete at the 70th Miss Universe competition in Eilat, Israel in December. She suceeded 2020 Miss Universe Ghana Chelsea Tayui.

The 26-year-old beauty queen works as model and entrepreneur. She is also an events planner and she owns Events with Naa. Hailing from Accra, Ghana, Commodore attended Labone Senior High School in Accra. She was graduated Bachelor’s  degree in business administration at Radford University College in Accra.

Commodore is not a newbie to pageantry.  In 2015, she competed against five other finalists at Miss Earth Ghana 2015 at the La Palm Hotel in Accra and won the title. She represented Ghana at Miss Earth 2015 and competed against 85 other candidates at Marx Halle in Vienna, Austria, but she was unplaced. In 2016, she represent Ghana at Top Model of the World 2016 and competed against 40 other candidates at The Radisson Blu Hotel in Bremen, Germany, where she finished in the Top 15. During the same year, she represented Ghana at Miss Intercontinental 2016 and competed against 62 other candidates at Stein Studio in Colombo, Sri Lanka. She was second runner-up and Miss Intercontinental Africa 2016. In 2018, she was Miss Universe Ghana 2018 second runner-up.
