Miss Slovenko 2021 is…
Sophia Hrivñáková was crowned Miss Slovensko (aka Miss Slovakia) 2021 by Miss Slovensko 2020 Leona Novoberdaliu during a finals, held on August 7, 2021 in Bratislava and will represent Slovakia at Miss World 2022. in Miss World 2022. She succeeded Leona Novoberdaliu, who is set to compete at the 70th Miss World contest in November in Puerto Rico.The winner was decided by a jury headed by the director of the Miss Slovakia competition, Michael Kovácik.
The 21-year-old new beauty queen comes from Banská Štiavnica. She works as professional model and dancer, but she is also a student of pharmacy. She has been dancing since she was 9-years-old and eventually became one of the leaders of the children’s dance ensemble.
After being crowned as Miss Slovensko 2021, Sophia took to her social media account to share her joy : “Many thanks to our entire team, but especially to the people who have spent countless hours, days, and months with us to make us who we are today. But I would not be able to do any of this without the support of my loved ones.”

Sophia performed exceptionally well at the competition and managed to impress everyone with her charm and beauty. She was also given the award for Miss Gosh 2021. She entered the Miss Slovakia competition because she likes to work on herself and move forward. And it was this competition that came to her as a suitable challenge, for which she was prepared.
During the evening, the finalists performed in several clothing creations, whether from home design or world brands. Part of the evening was dedicated to the presentation of skills and talents of individual girls, which included painting, dancing, and even martial arts.
Even before the finals themselves, the director of Miss Slovakia, Michael Kováčik, also commented. “Many finalists also surprised me. Not only by what they can do, but also by how they started the preparations for the gala evening and live broadcast. They are ambitious and I like that. I believe that the audience will appreciate it as well,” said Kováčik, who was at the same time the head of the jury.
The Miss Slovensko 2021’s court includes:
1st Vice-Miss – Sylvia Šulíková
2nd Vice-Miss – Jana Vozárová
The runners-up are expected to compete in Miss International and Miss Supranational contests next year. Julka Ivanovaa bagged the Miss Sympatia award.
