Miss Pine Belt’s Outstanding Teen crowned Miss Mississippi’s Outstanding Teen 2022

Cameron Davis was crowned Miss Mississippi’s Outstanding Teen 2022 during the pageant, held on April 24, 2022 at the Vicksburg City Auditorium in Vicksburg, Mississippi. Miss Pine Belt’s Outstanding Teen bested eighteen contestants to win this crown and to succeed Miss Mississippi’s Outstanding Teen 2021, Tori Johnston of Madison, who placed in the Top 11 at the 2021 Miss America’s Outstanding Teen pageant in July 2021 in Orlando. Davis will go on to compete in the Miss America’s Outstanding Teen Competition, which will be held this summer. During the pageant, she also won the Preliminary Talent Award; the Overall Talent Award and the Overall Lifestyle & Fitness Award.

The 15-year-old beauty queen is a student at Lamar High School in Meridian. Her social impact initiative is “Building Community Through Giving“. Helping the homeless is very important for Davis, not only because “it gives these people a second chance, but also because it helps bring our community together.“

1st runner-up – Madison McCarter (Miss Deep South OT)

2nd runner-up – Karly Henderson (Miss Leaf River Valley OT)

3rd runner-up – Grace Travis (Miss Jones County OT)

4th runner-up – Brook Bumgarner (Miss Delta OT)
