Miss North South Wales crowned Miss Universe Australia 2022

Monique Riley was crowned Miss Universe Australia 2022 during the national pageant, held at Movieworld on the Gold Coast on September 9, 2022, after two years of hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. A total of 28 beauties competed for the national title. She succeeds the last year’s titleholder, Daria Varlamova and becomes the official country’s representative at the next edition of Miss Universe pageant, to be held in the first quarter of 2023.

The 27-year-old native from Queensland works as an executive assistant with a degree in creative industries from the Queensland University of Technology. She is model and actress too.
