Miss Mundo Italia 2021 is…
Claudia Motta was crowned Miss Mondo Italia 2021 during the finals held September 26 at the Villa dei Fiori Party Theater in Gallipoli, Apulia. She competed against 25 other candidate to win this title and to succeed to Miss Mondo Italia 2019 Adele Sammartino. She earned the opportunity to represent Italy at the 70th Miss World contest to be held in December in Puerto Rico.
“I believe so much in myself and I have always fought to achieve my goals. Puerto Rico is waiting for me, to give Italy that success it has never achieved, crowning a memorable year for Italian successes,” she said.
The 21-year-old beauty queen is a law student and dancer from Velletri. She is attending the third year of law at the University La Sapienza of Rome, in good standing with the exams despite her commitments on TV, where among other things she is a showgirl in the Tiki Taka program hosted by Piero Chiambretti. From 2008 to 2012, had a dance training at the Accademia nazionale di Danza in Rome. In 2009, she made her debut as a fashion model.She speaks Italian, English and German.
Claudia and her sister aren’t stragers to pageantry. Her sister Alice Motta, who holds a law degree, was Miss Velletri 2009 and Miss Intimo 2010. In 2012, Claudia competed against more than 60 girls at Miss Cioè 2012 at the Rainbow Magicland in Valmontone, Italy and won the title. It was her first ever beauty pageant. In 2013, she was crowned Miss Marconi Village in Velletri. In November 2015, she was crowned Miss Intimo 2015 in Rome.
The 2021 Miss Mondo Italia’s court includes Lucia La Paglia (Lazio) and Martina Ballardini (Veneto) as first and second runners-up, respectively.
