Miss & Mister England crowned
Rehema “Remi” Muthamia and Liam Ulla were crowned Miss and Mister England 2021, at the end of the finals, held on August 27 at at the Heart of England Conference and Events Centre in Coventry. They earned the right to represent England on the international stage. Rehema will represent England at the 70th Miss World in Puerto Rico on December 16th and Liam will have the opportunity to represent England in the next Mr Global contest.
Miss England 2021
Born in England to Kenyan parents, Rehema spent a part of her childhood in Kenya. In September 2020, she graduated from The Sussex University with an integrated master’s degree in the field of genetics. She works now as a health technology consultant and speaks four languages. .
Muthamia is using her platform to raise awareness of domestic abuse, which she experienced herself, and advocate for increased representation of ethnic minorities within the STEM field.
The 25-year-old beauty queen is not a newbie to pageantry. On February 13, 2021, she competed against seven other candidates at the inaugural Miss All African Colours England and won the title. While reigning as Miss All African Colours England 2021, she raised money for Women’s Aid.
Mister England 2021
Liam is the founder of New Century Chauffeurs from Dorset who won the Climate King Award organised by We Do Ethical and the talent award showcasing his skills as a British Amateur Kite Surfing Champion.
On May 31, 2019, he founded Coacoara Foundation, a Bournemouth-based nonprofit foundation that reduces plastic waste and assists in reducing the ocean’s plastic content. He also serves as its managing director.
