Palesa Molefe was crowned Miss Botswana 2021 at the end of the finals, held on October 29, 2021 at the Limkokwing Hall of Fame, in Gaborone, Botswana. She succeeds Oweditse Phirinyan, winner of the 2019 edition, since there was no ceremony in 2020, due to the Coronavirus pandemic. She will represent her country at the upcoming edition of Miss World pageant, to be held on December 16 in Puerto Rico.

Hailing from Mochudi, the 22-year-old beauty queen was raised up by a single parent, her mother, who she says is the most beautiful and strongest woman alive.
The 2021 Miss Botswana’s court includes Michelle Mayer Bagoleng and Marang Makhoana as first and second runners-up, respectively.
