Markeisha Young is Miss World Belize 2021

Markeisha Young was crowned Miss World Belize 2021 at the end of virtual edition due to the sanitary restriction. The contest run by the ILS Phoenix Foundation-Miss World Belize. She succeeded Miss World Belize 2018 Jalyssa Arthurs and will represent Belize at the upcoming edition of Miss World, to be held on December 16, 2021 in Puerto Rico. The announcement of the new beauty queen took place to their official social media on 25th July 2021.

The 22-year-old beauty queen is currently pursuing an Associate Degree Tourism Studies at the University of Belize. She is not a newbie to the pageantry. She finished as 2nd runner-up at Miss Universe Belize 2019.
