Maria Rosado crowned Miss Queen Portugal 2021
Maria Rosado was crowned Miss Queen Portugal 2021 at the end of the 10th edition of the national pageant, held on 10th April 2022 in Castro Dairepageant. The representative of Ribatejo bested 18 other beautiful girls to win this title and to succeed Miss Queen Portugal 2020 Gabriella Rodriguez for the crown. Maria earns the chance to represent her country at the 2022 edition of Miss Earth pageant later this year.
The newly crowned queen took to her social media to express her gratitude:

She shared her joy, “I still can’t believe it was real and that I became the Miss Queen Portugal 2021. It was the result of a lot of work, dedication, humility and love for the contest. Without you and your support none of this would have been possible, your help gave me strength, claw and motivation to fight for myself, for us and for ours district.” She also thanked the organization directors for all the support, patience, attention and teachings, that she shared, “I will take with me for life, now it’s time to focus on the Miss Earth competition and, honoring the responsibility of having Portugal on my chest.”
Maria ends her message to the one who inspired her: “To Miss Queen Portugal 2020, thank you for being an inspiration, which I rely on every day, I will honor the beautiful reign you developed.” Gabriella represented Portugal at Miss Earth 2021 virtual pageant but remained unplaced at the end.
The 2021 Miss Queen Portugal’s court includes –
First runner-up – Soraia Barbosa (Viana Do Castelo)
Second runner-up – Inês Fernandes (Braga)
Third runner-up – Esmeralda Moreira (Porto)
