Karolína Michalčíková crowned Miss Universe Slovakia 2022

Karolína Michalčíková was crowned Miss Universe Slovakia 2022 on September 11, 2022, at the Ministry of Fun in Banská Bystrica. Michalčíková has beaten 11 other delegates to succeed the last year’s titleholder Veronika Ščepánková, who was appointed to represent her country at the 70th Miss Universe pageant in Israel. With this crown, she get the opportunity to represent her country at the next edition of Miss Universe pageant, to be held in the first quarter 2023.

Last April, Karolína was also awarded the title Miss Costa in a special event sponsored by the pageant’s main partner Costa Cruises.

The 23-year-old beauty from Trenčín is a makeup artist and a student of human resources and personnel management at Trencianska univerzita Alexandra Dubceka v Trencíne in Trencín.

The 2022 Miss Universe Slovakia’s court includes

1st runner-up – Klaudia Korlová from Košice

2nd runner-up – Mária Glatzová from Prešov
