Interview of Alison Carrasco, Miss Elegance Antilles for Miss Elegance France

Today, we traveled to the French Antilles, to discover Alison Carrasco, Miss Elegance Antilles 2021 and contestant at the 2022 Miss Elegance France pageant, which will take place on March 12th.

Inside Pageant – Can you introduce yourself for people who don’t know you ?

My name is Alison Carrasco, I am 26 years old and I am currently doing a Master in Digital Marketing. I am a work-study student in digital and my job is to take care of data and SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) of websites, and therefore data analysis.

Inside Pageant – What are your passions and the activities you do ?

I’ve been a model for 6 years and besides doing sports at home, like many people I think, hiking and running.

Inside Pageant – Why did you participate in Miss Elegance Antilles ?

Initially, I competed at Miss Elegance Haute-Garonne 2021, where I won the title. Then, I finished second runner-up in Miss Élégance Midi-Pyrénées, a regional stage for the Miss Elegance France competition. I saw that the committee was looking for contestants in the French West Indies and since my family comes from there, I registered for the video casting, and I was selected.

Inside Pageant – If you had to define your adventure in 3 words, what would they be ?

I would say unique, because you only experience it once, meetings, because you meet new people and benevolence, because the committee is.

Inside Pageant – How are you feeling as the national competition approaches ?

I’m not stressing too much at the moment because I have a lot of work. The stress I feel is good stress, and I know it because I have already been part in elections. The most stressful is not necessarily the stage, it is the speech, a very important moment.

Inside Pageant – What will you do if you are elected Miss Elegance France 2022 ?

If I am elected, I would like to visit all the regions of France, and discover them, as well as their culture and their gastronomy, because we have a very beautiful country.

Inside Pageant – What is the cause you defend, and in which you would like to get involved if you are elected ?

I am against cyber harassment, a cause little defended today but I want to orient myself against violence against women, physical and mental.

Which international competition for which Miss Elegance has the license appeals to you the most (Miss Mediterranean, Miss Tourism International, Miss Earth, Miss Globe, Miss Tourism Metropolitan and Miss Landscapes) ?

For the moment, I am focusing on the national competition, which is coming up quickly. Thereafter, if I have the chance to appear in the top 10 then top 5, then yes, why not stand for an international election if I am given the opportunity

Inside Pageant – Who is the most important person in your life ?

I could not choose a single person, I would say all my close family, including my parents but also my boyfriend and his family, to whom I am also close.

Inside Pageant -What is your motivation in life ? The reason you get up in the morning ?

I have a job that I like, and that’s the most important thing when you know that you spend more time at work than at home. I don’t cling to material things, so the most important thing for me is to be in a team where I feel good.
