Georgina Kerford is Miss Cayman Islands Universe 2021

Georgina Fleming Kerford was crowned Miss Caymand Islands Universe 2021 at the end of the pageant, held on September 18, 2021 at the Westin Grand Cayman Seven Mile Beach Resort and Spa in George Town. Beating 8 other young girls, the 18-year-old beauty queen succeeds Miss Caymand Islands Universe 2020 Mariah Tibbets, whose last action was to cut her hair to honr her charity that helps people with cancer. The next step for Kerford is to go on to represent the Cayman Islands at the 70^th Miss Universe competition to be held in Israel in December this year in the southern resort city of Eilat.

Hailing from George Town, Georgina is a Caymanian dancer. She has achieved a lifetime scholarship withMiss Jackie’s School of Dance in George Town and has completed her Darkness to Light Training. Aside from dancing, she also enjoys nature, community work and volunteering at the Humane Society, an animal rescue service in George Town. She is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in education at the University College Of The Cayman Islandsin George Town where she is the student council president.

Her favorite quote is that of Henry Ford, which goes, “Whether you think you can or you think you can’t, you’re right.”

The 2021 Miss Cayman Islands Universe’s court includes :

1st runner-up – Kimberly Carlos

2nd runner-up – Aliyah Harrison (who also won a two-year educational scholarship and gift certificates)

3rd runner-up – Ashley Crowe (who also won two-year educational scholarships, life coaching, gift certificates and other prizes)
