Due to Covid-19, Miss Intercontinental pageant changes its venue.

According the live session of the Miss Intercontinental Mexico organization, Miss Intercontinental will no longer held in India. Miss Intercontinental Mexico 2020 Paulina Uceda  discussed the details of the preparations for the upcoming contest and interacted with her followers. During the live session, Paulina also shared some very important details along with confirming that the edition is no longer hosted by India due to the alarming rise in COvid-19 cases in the country and will move to Egypt soon. Miss Intercontinental 2021 will be the 49th edition of the Miss Intercontinental pageant and at the end of this pageant, Fanni Mikó, Miss Intercontinental 2019, Fanni Mikó from Hungary, will crown her successor.
