Dindi Pajares appointed as Miss Supranational Philippines 2021
Dindi Pajares of Orani, Bataan, was crowned Miss Supranational Philippines 2021 in a surprise special announcement held July 24, a day after the Miss World Philippines 2021 coronation night was postponed due to stricter quarantine meaures imposed in the county. She is the first Miss Supranational representative to be sent by the Miss World Philippines Organization. The franchise was previously held by Bb Pilipinas, which produced the country’s first Miss Supranational winner in 2013, Mutya Johanna Datul. The newly appointed Miss Supranational Philippines will represent her country at the Miss Supranational 2021 pageant in Poland this August.
The 28-year-old flight attendant and Philippine Air Force reservist from Bataan will head on to represent the country at the 12th Miss Supranational competition in Poland in August. She received the crown from Arnold Vegafria, national director of Miss World Philippines, which also holds the Miss Supranational franchise.
Pajares bagged the title after receiving the highest number of votes from her fellow Miss World Philippines candidates. Ruffa Nava, Kathleen Paton, and Megan Campbell also made the shortlist for the title.
