Choi Seo-eun crowned Miss Korea 2021

Choi Seo-eun was crowned Miss Korea 2021 after winning the annual beauty pageant held in Paju, on November 16. The contest was held without spectators amid the coronavirus pandemic. Since 2016, Miss Korea organization no longer send South Korea’s representative to Miss Universe or another international pageants.

The 26 year-old beauty queen is graduated from Pratt Institute’s School of Art, in Brooklyn, New York, majoring in fine arts. She said, “I didn’t know that I would be standing here. I hope this will be the beginning, not the end.” She also revealed her dream of becoming a writer and actress.

The 2021 Miss Korea’s court includes Cho Min-ji, Choi Mi-na Sue, Choi Seo-eun, Kim Su-jin and Jung Do-hee as first, second, third and fourth runners-up, respectively.
