Celinda Ortega was crowned Miss New Jersey USA 2021 while Delaney Musgrave won the title of Miss New Jersey Teen USA at the end of the pageant, held on August 1st, 2021 at the Hilton Parsippany Hotel in Parsipanny. They earned the opportunity to represent New Jersey at the upcoming edition of Miss USA and Miss Teen USA respectivaly, to be held in November in Tulsa.

Celinda Ortega succeeded Miss New Jersey USA 2020 Gina Mellish, who was placed in the Top 10 at the finale of Miss USA 2020.
The 26-year-old beauty queen earned her bachelor’s degree in public relations from Montclair State University in Montclair, New Jersey. She speaks English, Spanish, and French fluently. She became the vice president of Stellar Role Models Pageant, where she also worked as a coach since 2013.
The beauty queen is not a newbie to pageantry as she was adjudged as the fourth runner-up at the National American Miss New Jersey Teen 2013. She was crowned Miss Bergen County in 2017. Celinda was also a part of Miss New Jersey USA 2018 where she finished in Top 18 and was placed in Top 17 during Miss New Jersey USA 2019.

Also at the finale, Delaney Musgrave was crowned Miss New Jersey Teen USA 2021 and will now represent her state at Miss Teen USA 2021. Skyy Hills, Julianna Howell, Darianny Bautista, and Isabella Galan were adjudged as the first, second, third, and fourth runners-up at the end of the event finale.
