Bulgaria has two new beauty queens

Bulgaria’s representatives to the upcoming 2021 Miss Universe and Miss World pageants have been finally selected following an online casting, organized by BOK Star Models, the Bulgarian organisation responsible for sending Bulgaria’s representatives to the international pageants. The winners were selected amongst 48 applicants from all over the country.

Miss Universe Bulgaria

Ellena Danova was crowned Miss Universe Bulgaria 2021 succeeds Miss Universe Bulgaria 2020 Radinela Chusheva for the title. Elena was selected after an online casting amongst 48 applicants from all over the country. The 21-year-old actress, model and singer from Krichim will represent the nation at the 70th Miss Universe competition in Eilat, Israel in December.

Hailing from Krichim, a town located in the southwestern part of Plovdiv province at the foot of the Rhodopes northern slopes in Bulgaria, she works as professional model and loves to channel her energy through acting and singing. Elena is proficient in speaking English and Bulgarian. She is currenty studying  public relations at University of Sofia.

Elena is not a newbie to pageantry, previously she was crowned as Queen of the Rose 2021 of Karlovo and has experience in the field of beauty pageants and modelling.

Miss World Bulgaria

Eva Dobreva was named Miss World Bulgaria 2021. She succeeds Miss World Bulgaria 2019 Margo Cooper to the title. The 21-year-old from Varna is set to compete at the 70th Miss World pageant to be held in December in Puerto Rico.

Hailing from Varna,  a port city and seaside resort on Bulgaria’s Black Sea, the 21-year-old beauty queen graduated from Dobri Hristov National School of arts with folk singing and piano as her instruments of concentration. She is currently pursuing hotel and restaurant management studies from University of Economics, Varna.

Eva is no stranger to pageantry, previously she was crowned as Miss Asia Global Bulgaria 2019. Eva is fluent in English and Russian. This Bulgarian beauty queen is a fitness enthusiast and makes sure to keep her body fit. She loves to walk her feisty furball Skye and spending time with her friends.
