Breanna Myles crowned Miss Teen USA 2021
Breanna Myles was crowned Miss Teen USA 2021 at the end of the finals, held on November 27 at the Paradise Cover Theater of River Spirit Casino Resort in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The 18-year-old representative of Florida succeeds Miss Teen USA 2021 Ki’ilani Arruda of Hawaii. This was Florida’s first Miss Teen USA win, and the first in the new Miss USA Organization under Crystle Stewart’s directorship.
Breanna has an African-American father, a Dominican Republic mother and moved to Florida at the age of seven. She began competing in beauty pageants at the age of 12 and was crowned Miss Teen of Florida in July.
She was raised in Port St. Lucie, Florida, and graduated from high school in 2021, with a dual enrollment associate degree from Indian River State College. The beauty is expected to attend Florida State University with two parallel disciplines: Computer Science and Musical Theater. Her goal is to encourage motivated, confident and passionate young girls to pursue careers in STEM (science,
technology, engineering and mathematics).
Breanna enjoys music theatre, video editing and digital art. She has a small business called Bre’s Digital Designs, where she creates digital portraits and builds brands. A portion of all sales go to the Saint Marks Educational Center to help provide opportunities for all students. With her passion for service, she is also the founder of GEMS: Girls Making Strides Everywhere, an organization that inspires young women to be actively involved in their communities. GEMS’ premise is to build confidence and a sense of purpose in young women by providing a rewarding community service volunteering experience.
