Armenia crowns its beauty queens 2021
The Miss Armenia 2021 competition concluded on September 21 at the Jivan Restaurants, Yerevan, Armenia with the crowning of the country’s representatives to two of the Big5 pageants (Miss World and Miss Universe pageants).
Miss Universe Armenia 2021
Nane Avetisyan was crowned Miss Universe Armenia 2021 at the end of the finals.To win this crown, she beat 14 other candidates and earned the opportunity to represent Armenia at the 70th Miss Universe competition in Eilat, Israel in December.
Hailing from Yerevan, the 24-year-old beauty queen is a lawyer, philanthropist, nature lover. She graduated her law degree from the Université Française en Arménie (UFAR) in Yerevan. After her diploma from law school, she went back to her hometown and taught law on a charitable basis. She currently works as the operations director of Tovmasyan Foundation, which aims “to spread more happiness and kindness all over the world.”
The 2021 Miss Universe Armenia 2021 includes Adriana Davtyan as first runner-up, while Manan Hunanyan finished second runner-up. Viviana Assatouri and Alla Karapetyan were third and fourth runners-up, respectively.
Miss World Armenia 2021
Mirna Bzdigian was crowned Miss World Armenia during the same night of the crowning of Miss Universe Armenia 2021. She beatshe beat 14 other candidates to win this title and to succeed Miss World Armenia 2019 Liana Voskerchyan. She become the official representative of Armenia at the 70th Miss World contest to be held in December in Puerto Rico.
Hailing from Aleppo, Syria, the 19-year-old student is also a professional swimmer. For four years till 2019, she was a member of Syria’s national swimming team. Mirna officially moved to Yerevan in 2019 and attended the American University of Armenia. She is an aspiring human rights activist too.
The 2021 Miss World Armenia’s court includes Preni Davtyan as first runner-up, while Vika Baloyan finished second runner-up. Kristina Ayanyan and Liana Yeghiazaryan were third and fourth runners-up, respectively.
