Sylvani Munshi-Kasanpawiro was crowned Mrs Grand Suriname 2021, during a ceremony held on October 25, 2021. Beating 10 other candidates, she became the first Mrs Grand Suriname. She bagged Mrs Runway and Mrs People Choice awards too. She will now represent her country at the inaugural edition of Mrs Grand International to be held later this year.

“It’s been a wonderful experience. It has been an instructive period with training. A 39-year-old and mother of 3 amazing children, the wife of a super intelligent man. In daiy life, I am involved in importing, distributing and selling Mustika Ratu products which come from Indonesia. I am also the CEO of a contracting company. The 2021 Mrs Grand Suriname’s court includes Cherryl Chin and Abriénne Macnack as first and second runners-up, respectively.
