And Miss Peru 2022 is…
Alessia Rovegno was crowned Miss Peru 2022 (or Miss Universe Peru 2022) in a glittering finals, held on June 14, 2022 in Lima. She succeeds Miss Peru 2021 Yely Rivera and will now represent her country at the next edition of the Miss Universe pageantlater this year. She also received the Miss Photogenic award.
“Infinitely grateful to all the people who support me and send me messages of love and motivation,” she wrote on social media after winning her title. “I promise to give all of myself to leave the name of Peru high in Miss Universe and show the world how wonderful our country is,” she added.

The 24-year-old model, singer and influencer is the daughter of actress Bárbara Cayo and the current partner of athlete Hugo García. She is a professional model and she speaks Spanish and English fluently.

1st runner-up or Miss International Peru 2022 – Tatiana Calmell
2nd runner -up or Miss Peru Latina Universal Peru 2022 – Valeria Flores
