Former Miss Universe Curacao Kanisha Sluis has been officially announced by the Curacao Beauty Pageant Committee as Miss Grand Curacao 2022 on Wednesday, August 17. “Kanisha will assume this great responsibility and is ready to bring the first Miss Grand International crown to Curaçao,” the Curaçao Beauty Pageant Committee said. The 26-year-old speech therapy student will represent Curacao at Miss Grand International 2022 final this October 25 in Indonesia.

On her social media, she shared her excited about being back in the pageant world.

Kanisha was crowned Miss Universe Curacao 2015 and went on to compete at the 64th Miss Universe pageant at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, where she made it to the Top 10.
