Chayenne Van Aarle  was crowned Miss Belgium 2022 at the end of the pageant on March 2026 at the Proximus theater in Adinkerke (De Panne). Hailing from Antwerp, the 22-year-old beauty queen bested 29 other beautiful girl to win this crown and to succeed Miss Belgium 2021 Kedist Deltour. For the moment, we do not know if this young woman will be the Belgian representative at the Miss World or Miss Universe pageants.

At the end of an evening rich in elegance and emotion, the newly crowned Miss Belgium shared her joy. During her coronation, the young woman praised the hard work to achieve her goals and said: “I was born in a caravan, but I grew up in a castle. My father adopted and cared for retired circus animals (…) I learned that if you work hard, you can achieve your goals”.

Chayenne works as a flight attendant.

There was also Miss Ukraine who has just been elected. The latter took the floor to defend her country caught in the war: “In my country, a real war is raging, and it is not only soldiers who are dying. Civilians too, including innocent women and children. This is why I ask NATO to support our country. Ukrainians are fighting to protect democracy across Europe,” she said.

During this edition, the young women who participated in the competition traveled to Egypt to prepare. The candidates also denounced attempts at blackmail and online harassment. Silvana Spyros has also paid the price.

Elle Leclercq from Lokeren and Silvana Spyros from Limburg was designated as first and second runners-up respectively.
