Alissa Bohle crowned Miss Montana Volunteer

Alissa Bohle was crowned Miss Montana Volunteer at the end of the finals, held on July 24, 2021 at the DCHS Auditorium in Glendive. She received awards for preliminary Evening Gown and Wellness & Fitness. She also received the Spirit & Leadership Award, Hellcreek Music Award and Outstanding Interview. She also won the right to represent Montana at the inaugural edition of Miss Volunteer America, to be held in May 2022 in Jackson, TN.

Hailing from Baker, the 19-year-old beauty queen is the daughter of Kalyn and Leslie Bohle of Plevna, Alissa attend­ed Montana State University in Bozeman majoring in elemen­tary education. She is transfer­ring to MSU Billings in the fall to continue in elementary ed, with a math focus.

Alissa said she is best known for being great with kids and being outspoken in a respect­ful way. She was on the honor roll and got superior ratings at state music festival all four years of high school. This year Alissa will be playing a piano solo for the talent portion of the pageant. Her hobbies are working with livestock on the family ranch, fishing with her dad, deer hunting, hiking and working with kids at church.

She participated in the Miss Montana program after graduating from Baker High School last year earning $2,100 as 2nd runner up.
