A teenager from Asturias is crowned Miss Tourism World Spain 2021

Angie Casado was crowned Miss Tourism World Spain 2021 at the end of the finals, held at Hotel Blau in Portopetro on October 9. The teenager from Oviedo in Asturias beaten 21 other candidates to win this crown and to succeed Miss Tourism World Spain 2019 Ariadna Suárez.  She will represent her country at the upcoming edition of Miss Tourism World, to be held in Spain for the first time in December. Ariadna Suárez and Angie Casado will both represent Spain at the event in Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands.

The contestants went through a number of costume changes, including swimwear and clothes from several boutiques in Santanyí and for the last parade they wore evening dresses by fashion designers from their own province.

23-year-old Heritage Restoration student, Sara Carbó from Valenciawas named first runner-up and 26 year-old ADE & Psychology student, Megan Bezy from the Balearic Islandscame third. The other two finalists were Carla Juan, from Melilla, and Icíar Cambra, from Tenerife.
