India wins the crown of Mrs. Galaxy for the first time.

Captain Chahat Dalal was crowned Mrs. Galaxy 2023 on August 8, 2022 at the McAllen Convention Center in McAllen, Texas. She succeeds Mrs. Galaxy 2020-2021, Crystal Cavey ans creates history as she became the first Indian woman in 20 years to bring home this crown. Shehas dedicated her win to the entire nation. She considers herself a proud daughter of the nation and expresses her joy at bringing home the trophy on the occasion of our Independence Day celebration.

During a media interaction at the airport, Chahat stated, “This is the first time that someone from India has been crowned Mrs Galaxy, and it was their 20th Anniversary, so this win is, even more special and a big win for us. And I think, if you are hardworking and determined, dreams do come true, this has been my dream since last decade for so, and when I got the chance, I am proud to bring home this crown on our 75th Independence Day and make our country proud.”
Born in Pune, Captain Chahat Dalal did her schooling from St Felix Highschool, Pune. She works now as professional pilot, but also as an entrepreneur, a model, and a DJ.
Captain Dalal is not a stranger to pageantry. She competes in this world since she was 18 years old. beauty contests are indeed her passion. She has won numerous titles including RSI May Queen 2011 and Miss Pune 2012. She was also one of the contestants among top 10 at Miss India Universe 2014. Dalal has been a finalist of Femina Miss India 2015. In June 2022, Capt. Dalal was crowned the runner-up of Mrs India Inc and earned the opportunity to represent her country at the 2022 edition of Galaxy International pageants.
