And Miss Nicaragua 2022 is…

Norma Huembes was crowned Miss Nicaragua 2022 on August 6, 2022 at Centro De Convenciones Crown Plaza in Managua. Miss San Marcos succeeds Miss Nicaragua 2021 Allison Wassmer and become the official representative of Nicaragua at the next edition of Miss Universe pageant. Aside from the supreme title,  the new Nicaraguan queen won another prize: Integral Beauty. She also wore the Best National Costume. During her final response, the young woman explained how difficult childhood was for her and how she managed to overcome it.

Hailing from San Marcos, province of Carazo, the 24-year-old beauty quuen is a graduate in public accounting and from August 2018 to July 2020, she worked for OneLink in Managua as a customer service representative. In August 2020, she became a quality analyst in the company. She works as model too. She is fluent in Spanish, English, Italian and is currently learning Korean.

Huembes has a lot of experience in youth beauty pageants. In 2015, when she was 17 years old, she participated in the Miss Teen Nicaragua pageant. She was fourth runner-up to Cindy Gutierrez.

1st runner-up – Katherine Burgos (Tipitapa)

2nd runner-up – Diana Navarro (León)

3rd Runner-up – Isabella Salgado (Chinandega)

4th Runner-up – Gabriela Calix (Cinco Pinos)
