Annie Zambrano crowned Señorita Ecuador 2022

Annie Zambrano was crowned Señorita Ecuador 2022 (or Miss World Ecuador 2022) at the end of the Concurso Nacional de Belleza Ecuador 2022 (or CNB Ecuador 2022) pageant, held on April 30, 2022, at the Teatro Sánchez Aguilar in Samborondón. Beating 15 candidates, Miss Santa Elena will now represent her country at the next edition of Miss World pageant later this year. Another winner of the pageant is Valery Carabalí who was named Miss Supranational Ecuador 2022. She will travel to Nowy Sacz in Malopolska, Poland to compete for the Miss Supranational 2022 title this July. They succeed Señorita Ecuador 2021 Amar Pacheco and Miss Supranational Ecuador 2021 Justeen Cruz for the title. Reigning Miss World Karolina Bielawska of Poland and Miss Supranational Chanique Rabe of Namibia were special guests at the national competition.

The 22-year-old native of Salinas is pursuing her bachelor’s degree in languages and Literature. She is fluent in English and Italian.

Along with her studies, she has combined beauty reigns. She was the sovereign of her canton in 2018 and from there she has not stopped in herpreparation for this type of contests. And it was in that same contest that a very particular band won, that of Miss Facebook, for the support and popularity she had in networks. But as on the road to success not all are triumphs, in 2019 she presented herself in the provincial contest of Santa Elena, but she was not designated. “I didn’t get the desired result,” she said at the time. Annie, almost like a cabal, on this occasion worked with the same makeup artists who in previous years advised her to become Queen of Salinas. This is the team of Ikena Bazán, who makes up all the beauties of the coastal province.
