Diane Leyre was crowned Miss France 2022 at the end of the finals, held on December 12, 2021 at the Zenith in Caen. The representative of Ile de France (French state) was chosen 50/50 by viewers of TF1, which broadcast the ceremony live, and by a jury of seven personalities chaired by Jean-Pierre Pernaut. She will represent France at either Miss Universe 2022 or Miss World 2022.
The 24-year-old beauty queen is originally from Paris and has always lived in the 7th arrondissement of the capital.
