Philippines wins Miss Culture International

Samela Aubrey Godin from Philippines was crowned Miss Culture International 2021 at the end of the second edition of this pageant, held at The Lyric Theatre in Johannesburg on December 5, 2021. The finals took place in live despite the coronavirus pandemic and its Omicron variant treat. She also won the Best in Swimsuit and Best National Costume awards in the South African-based international beauty derby.

Samela works as a Special Education (SPED) teacher and event coordinator from Samar province.  She is not a newbie to pageantry. She was finalist representing Samar at Miss World Philippines 2021 pageant and finished in the Top 24 of the pageant.

The 2021 Miss Culture International’s court includes Deborah Marere (Zimbabwe) and Reatile Molefe (Lesotho) as first and second princess, respectively.
