And Mrs. America 2022 is

Jackie Blankenship from Michigan was crowned Mrs America 2022 at the end of the finals, held on November 22, 2021 at the Westgate resort in Las Vegas. She succeeds Mrs America 2021 Brooklyn Rivera from Texas. She makes history to become the first woman from Michigan to win the crown of Mrs America. She will represent United States at the Mrs World 2022.

Originally from Portage, in Kalamazoo County, Blankenship attended Ferris State University where she earned her bachelor’s degree in 2011. While attending Ferris, she also met her now-husband and Big Rapids native, Jim Blankenship.

The married couple and their four-year-old daughter, Greenleigh, rent/live in Grand Rapids full-time because of work. Jackie is the co-host of The Gray & Green Show, a morning radio show in Grand Rapids. “We’re the first only-female morning radio show in the state of Michigan,” she said. “It’s been cool to say we’re breaking some barriers that way.”

Jackie is not a newbie to pageantry. She was awarded 1st Runner-up at the 2019 Mrs. US Continental Pageant at the Eissey Campus Theater in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
