Dannia Guevara crowned Miss Universe Guatemala 2021
Dannia Sucely Guevara Morfín was crowned Miss Universe Guatemala 2021 in a special ceremony held October 27 at the Palacio Nacional de la Cultura in Guatemala City. The 24-year-old law student and model from Ayutla will represent the nation at the 70th Miss Universe competition in Eilat, Israel in December.

“Today I assume with great responsibility, love and commitment the task for which I have been appointed, I agree to represent a country full of traditions, ancient culture, natural beauty, history and promising present,” Guevara posted on Instagram.
Hailing from San Marcos, Southwest Guatemala, the 24-year-old beauty queen is a law student who will obtain a university scholarship to pursue a master’s degree in Universidad Galileo.
She is not a newbie to the pageantry. She was crowned Miss Grand Guatemala 2019 as she became the official representative of the country at Miss Grand International 2019, where she finished into the Top 21.
When she was given the opportunity to represent Guatemala at Miss Grand International 2019, she spoke how important it was for her to carry the name of her country in her chest and fulfill her commitments. “To achieve my goal I have been preparing in all areas of the Organization hand that gave me absolutely all the tools to be able to travel with dignity, as a representative of Guatemala deserves”, she said.
