Hannah Seifer is the new Miss Universe Germany
German-Colombian Hannah Seifer has been appointed as Miss Universe Germany 2021. She will now represent Germany at the 70th edition of the Miss Universe competition in Eilat, Israel in December. She succeeds Miss Universe Germany 2019 Miriam Rautert for this title.

“For me, a childhood dream is coming true and I promise you to do my best. I will represent Germany with honors this year,” Seifer posted on Instagram.
The 19-year-old beauty from Düsseldorf is currently training to be an actress and plans on studying journalism. She is fluent in German, Spanish and English.
Natalie Ackermann, a German-Colombian beauty queen who represented Germany in Miss Universe 2006, was recently named the new national director of Miss Universe Germany. She is also the national director of Miss Universe Colombia. The Colombian – German businesswoman has shown her passion for the world of queens and made it clear that she wants to make history in beauty pageants by being the one who leads the woman who is crowned in Miss Universe as queen.
In 2020, the purchase of the Colombian franchise from Miss Universe in order to be the one who sent the queen to this important contest generated controversy, since the country had always seen that it was the National Beauty Contest, directed by Raimundo Angulo, the one that chose the sovereign of beauty who traveled as Miss Colombia. It was last year that Natalie Ackermann, after not reaching an agreement with Angulo, held a quick contest, in the midst of the pandemic, in which Laura Olascuaga was chosen as Miss Universe Colombia.
A few weeks ago she already held the second edition of the contest and Valeria Ayos from Cartagena was chosen as the second Miss Colombia to travel, since the franchise is in the hands of the Colombian businesswoman.
However, Ackermann wants to join the competition by acquiring the Miss Universe Germany franchise, as announced on social networks by the organization thats he presides over in Colombia.
