Miss Earth Cuba 2021 is…

An actress, model, pianist, and a trained dancer, Cynthia Linnet Lau, has been officially announced as Miss Earth Cuba 2021 in a special ceremony, held on Sunday, June 27  at Cuba 8, Little Havana in Miami, Florida. She succeeded Miss Earth Cuba 2020 Jennifer Sanchez Aguilar. She earned the right to represent Cuba at the upcoming edition of Miss Earth, whose date and venue are yet to be announced..

The 25-year-old beauty with Chinese, Spanish, and Cuban roots was born in Holguin, Cuba, but grew up in the United States. She has appeared in various television commercials. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Florida International University in Psychology and Interdisciplinary Studies and a master’s degree in Business Administration.

The new Miss Earth Cuba is no stranger to pageantry as she has previously held the title of Miss Intercontinental Cuba and joined the Miss Intercontinental 2018 pageant held in the Philippines.

She is dedicated, focused, and takes her dreams and ambitions seriously, and works hard to make them come true. She works avidly with the Make a Wish Foundation, the American Cancer Society, and describes her work with the American Cancer Society: Cancer Action Network as one of the best times in her life. Cynthia further explains, “My role as an intern, volunteer, and now ambassador for these organizations has allowed me to go to Congress and speak to legislators about the importance of medical research funding and cancer prevention.”
