Who is the new Hoa hậu Môi trường Việt Nam?

Nguyen Thanh Ha was crowned Hoa hậu Môi trường Việt Nam 2022 (or Miss Eco Vietnam 2022) by Kathleen Paton, Miss Eco International 2022 during a final, held on June 11, 2022. Miss Eco Vietnam is the first national competition held in Vietnam, in response to the Prime Minister’s initiative on the project to plant 1 billion trees in the period of 2021-2025 and the message “For the Green Environment of Vietnam“, co-organized by Vietnam Environment and Urban Magazine in collaboration with Q-Talent Company. She will represent Vietnam at the Miss Eco International 2023 pageant in February 2023. She also won Environmental Beauty award, Benevolent Beauty award, and Media Beauty award during this contest.

During the Q/A on the stage, Thanh Ha received a question from judge Nguyen Truong Son: “If you won the title of Miss Eco Vietnam, what would you do to be an ambassador of the contest with environmental activities?” She answered: “As a young person growing up in Ben Tre land, I understand the meaning of living environment with me and those around me. I want to tell the story from 2016, when I was very young but I witnessed the difficulty of my grandparents, my relatives and everyone when there was a lack of fresh water, the fields were mangrove. Winning the title of Miss Eco is my burning dream to join hands with the activities, pay more attention to me and the activities that I participate in.”

The 18-year-old is student at the VinSchool High School in Ho Chi Minh City. She said she had passed fulbright university.
