Miss Earth Venezuela 2019 become author for children.

Michell Roxana Castellanos was crowned Miss Earth Venezuela 2019 on 26th August 2020 after which she went on to represent the country internationally at Miss Earth 2019. Though she couldn’t make it far in the competition, she won the gold medal for the Long Gown Competition and the silver medal for Resort Wear Competition as she represented the Fire group.

Michell has now added another feather to her hat; the model, influencer and now also a writer presented her first book for children dedicated to mother earth. MicheLand: The adventures of the girl who wanted to protect Mother Earth by Michell Roxana was officially launched on 10th April 2021.

Born on World Earth Day, this Venezuelan beauty feels she was marked with this purpose from birth, the purpose to build a better world and work towards helping Mother Earth. It was destined for her to write and create a children’s book that can teach them to build a better world, applying simple changes in everyday life.

MicheLand, illustrated by Chriss Braund, tells the story of a girl who receives powers from Mother Earth to help her solve problems. Problems that sadden her: cutting down trees, garbage, pollution of the air and the seas and many others. The book shows that when we work together with the same purpose, we can save the planet, just like Michell who undertakes a long journey to heal Mother Earth together with her friends Plant, Guaqui and Seed.

In a very subtle way, Michell also covers serious issues such as global warming, the immense amount of plastic waste in the ocean and the painful falling of trees. “It is extremely important to teach children the value of our mother earth. Today, more than ever, we must rescue the values ??of conservation and care for nature, to continue cultivating the hope of achieving a better future for all,” said Castellanos.

Michell took to her social media to share the news and expressing her contentment she wrote, “Yesterday, April 10, I had the pleasure of officially launching a book that began as a small idea and is now a reality! Behind this book are many anecdotes, adventures, laughter, and wonderful moments. Thanks to all those people I met along the way for helping me build it. Thank you God for allowing me this new stage of my life in which I become a writer!”

MicheLand is now available on Amazon watering the seeds of future generation, for the kids to enjoy and learn the importance of conservation of environment.
