Deta Kokomani crowned Miss Universe Albania 2022

Deta Kokomani was crowned Miss Universe Albania 2022 during the Miss Universe Albania and Kosovo 2022 pageant, held on Friday, June 10 at the Venom Nightclub in Pristina. She succeeds Miss Universe Albania 2021, Ina Dajci. Deta participated at the Miss Universe Albania pageant to “feel more confident and to represent the values of Albanian women to the world”. She added that she wants “to be remembered not just as a beautiful girl, but as a woman who could really use the platform of the competition to make a difference in society. After winning the title, Deta shared, “Words are not enough for the emotions I feel today. It is an honor, privilege and great responsibility to represent my Albania in Miss Universe.” She will represent Albania at the 71st edition of the Miss Universe pageant, scheduled to be held later this year.

Deta is in her third year pursuing a degress in Pharmacy and in her spare time she plays the piano. She is musically inclined beauty queen having spent her high school years at the Durres Artistic High School.
