Confiance Victor wins Miss Teen Global Beauty Nigeria 2022

Confiance Victor was crowned Miss Teen Global Beauty Nigeria 2022 at the end of the 2nd edition of the national pageant, held on April 17, 2022 at the Tosenat 3 arena in Sapele, Nigeria. The representative of Imo State bested 9 other contestants to emerge winner and to succeed Miss Teen Global Beauty Nigeria 2020, Anointing Amanambu. With this title, the 20-year-old earns the opportunity to represent her country at the next edition of Miss Teen Global Beauty pageant, to be held in Paraiba, Brazil in August this year.

After her winning, Confiance said “I feel incredibly happy about winning because it was a tough competition where there were so many great girls, but the crown chooses me, and it choose me for a purpose. It’s more than a prize to me, it’s an opportunity that will change my life for good.“

Unlike the conventional pageants where contestants make three apparences in swimwear, traditional and evening gown, contestants, here, came out in five appearances namely: introduction, traditional costumes, swimsuit, talent, and evening gown. While speaking to media on how the winners emerged, Mrs Gwendolyn Elohor Tagbarha stated that like the first edition, 70% scores was taken right from the auditions, home task assignments, behavioral assessment, hard work, attitude, camp activities were all put together and submitted to the judges while their stage performances during the Grand finale has the other half of 30%.

The 2022 Miss Teen Global Beauty Nigeria’s court includes:

1st princess – Aghunaife Fiona (Delta)

2nd princess – Alkali Hannah (Ondo)

3rd princess – Mayungbo Oluwatobiloba (Ogun)
